I enjoyed the humour of the following comment…

Here was the chapels response: (The Union Seminary)

“We are in the throes of a climate emergency, a crisis created by humanity’s arrogance, our disregard for Creation,” the statement continued. “Far too often, we see the natural world only as resources to be extracted for our use, not divinely created in their own right—worthy of honor, thanks and care. We need to unlearn habits of sin and death. And part of that work must be building new bridges to the natural world. And that means creating new spiritual and intellectual frameworks by which we understand and relate to the plants and animals with whom we share the planet.” (i)

Did anyone notice they were praying to plants while sitting on wooden chairs? (i)

Allan Ivarsson comments… There is nothing beautiful about a ritual that prays to plants for forgiveness. It is completely idiotic thinking and behaviour. We are not in the throes of a climate emergency as thousands of naïve people are claiming. This fake crisis is created by ignorant people that cannot comprehend that ‘Climate Change’ has been occurring on planet Gaia/Earth for the last 3 billion years and no living creature human or not has the ability to control climate. Stop fighting for control of ‘Climate Change’ get smarter and learn ‘Gaia Management’. We can change our ways by managing pollution reduction and avoiding unnecessary destruction of life. Our evolved dominance over the planet will not change. But some of our bad habits must change.

Our history of mismanagement of environment is not ‘Arrogance’ it is a misunderstanding and lack of education about Gaia. Homo Sapiens like all creatures on earth are only guilty of trying to survive as best they can to the best of their knowledge about ‘How To.” We are becoming wiser but foolishly panicking over ‘Climate Change’ problems is not a solution. The wiser learn ‘Gaia Management’. The foolish demand Governments to control Climate.

Building farms covered in acres of windmills and solar panels to create alternative energy sources is irresponsible behaviour and is destructive of our planet earth environment. Australia and America and China all do this. China even has acres of solar panels floating on the sea, this is equally wrong harming wildlife in the sea. Climate Change activists are silent about this destructive process. Sorry, but if the world cannot keep up with me by reading all my work, they lose.

I have not read of any ‘SchoolStrike for Climate Change Activists’ demanding that use of Air Conditioners must be banned. Child Activists are not willing to give up all of their electronic devices and air conditioners to reduce energy drain upon earth/Gaia.

No one fighting for Climate Change is willing to stop driving cars, trucks, buses, motor bikes, planes and the building of highways. All of these creations are responsible for the destruction of plant life and wildlife. Such is the hypocrisy of Climate Change activists. They are all mouth no guts.

The Amish have more respect for the protection of environment than climate change activists and even they to survive must grow food and use wood.

Humans are the dominate species, activists get over it. It is not going to change. If you feel so guilty stop praying, no one is going to commit suicide because plants have been killed.

By the lack of logic of this Union Seminary every person that does ‘Hazard Reduction’ burning to reduce the danger of bushfire and home destruction, should be praying to plants for forgiveness. If an owner of plants in pots and gardens experiences, “The we tried, but it died” tragedy, should they now pray for forgiveness? Should animals be shot for eating plants to survive? This Union Seminary needs to close its doors permanently and the leaders need to quit because their thinking is completely incompetent and their followers need to wake up, walk away from this chapel and get a life.

“Encouraging churches to turn from “theologies that encourage humans to dominate and master the Earth,” Union asserted that “we must birth new theology, new liturgy to heal and sow, replacing ones that reap and destroy.” (ii)

Allan Ivarsson comments… Humans do dominate the earth and whether churches support that reality or not, domination shall continue until we become extinct like the dinosaurs. Notice the Union Seminary says… “…to heal and sow, replacing ones that reap and destroy.” To sow food we must clear the ground of all grasses, weeds and any other natural bushes and trees. Farmers know this is essential and homes which grow some of their own food in their backyards must also do this. Thus the chapel is hypocritical in their case recommendation. If we must pray to plants for forgiveness surely the first step is to stop clearing the land to sow seed and simply allow people to starve to death. To save plants we must sacrifice our right to exist. This is the illogical thinking of this backward mindless Chapel.

According to the teachings of this Chapel ‘Vegans’ should be praying for forgiveness for eating plants. It seems by Chapel logic it is okay to kill meat for food but not plants. Every animal that eats plants to survive must also pray for forgiveness. Not all birds are carnivorous many eat sections of plants, so do slugs, snails, locusts and many other insects. Are all these creatures of creation guilty of sin?

The Union Seminary needs to close its doors, it is an incompetent illogical intellectually backward chapel organisation. And those who support their crazy teachings are equally as stupid.
