Australia: Sky News Political Editor Complains about PM Albanese answer on Rising Interest Rates
Allan Ivarsson comments… A Drama Queen News Report echoes Panic overreaction, because many foolish people overspend living on a budget that does not think about sudden changes in economy in harder times.
Think… how will we in Australia cope when Communist Beijing attacks Australians in an Act of War? Where is our survival Self-Sufficiency? Answer: Neglected by incompetent people and by inferior thinking Politicians in Federal and State, by Labor, Liberal and inferior thinking Greens.
Where is our Military Defence Force? Answer: Weak in strength, neglected by every Prime Minister since Whitlam 1975, started the process of neglecting Australian Military Strength in Skills and Military Equipment.
So now the Panic Mob are stressed because they rushed in and purchased a house, overinvesting in a home that they did not allow for changes in interest rates. Common-sense even in good times, knows that economic changes, good and bad are subject to the laws of supply and demand. That law has existed for thousands of years and if people were too lazy to upgrade their education that is there problem. I have no respect for whinging wimps.
The News Report by Kevin Airs and Levi Parsons for Daily Mail Australia dated 7th June 2022, grabs emotional reaction for people who lack ‘Emotional Intelligence’ and common-sense budgeting money management skills.
The report jumps off the page, titled, “Stunning moment Anthony Albanese REFUSES to answer questions about Australia’s shock interest rate rise while in Indonesia – as millions back home face soaring costs: ‘Poor form” (i)
“Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has refused to comment on the Reserve Bank’s surprise decision to hike interest rates when quizzed about it in Indonesia.” (i)
A.I. comments… Albanese refusal to comment on Domestical Australian Concerns whilst he is overseas is a correct responsible decision. He is currently in Indonesia working towards strengthening Australia’s relationship with Indonesia. Anthony Albanese is doing the right thing. Those who whinge about Albanese’s correct decision need to wakeup and leave their cocoon of incompetent thinking.
I did not vote for Labor because I do not trust the ‘Greens’. And until Labor becomes once more a ‘Workers Party’ void of alliance with the Greens, who I report as ‘The Greens Number One Enemy of Australia’, I will never feel complete trust of the Labor Party.
But having said that it must be said, so far, I respect Anthony Albanese decisions and objectives. As to how good he will be as a Prime Minister takes time to identify. He is the PM and deserves all Aussies support until he deserves common-sense criticism for wrong decisions.
It should be noted as I advised in previous website posts I refused to support Scott Morrison for very important reasons, but that is another story. See my previous posts on Morrison, which he did not have the intelligence to read.
I am a persistent critic of Indonesia as previous posts have revealed. “Lest we Forget”, there is good reason why Albanese is striving to improve friendship with Indonesia. If you have not bothered to read my previous report, read below about Indonesia and China War Games with Indonesia against Australia…
“The Reserve Bank of Australia has hiked the cash rate to 0.85 per cent, meaning the holder of an average mortgage will be forced to pay an extra $159 a month in interest on top of the already soaring cost of living.” (i)
“The 0.50 per cent jump is the biggest rise in 22 years and comes after the Reserve Bank moved rates by 0.25 in May to curb spiraling inflation, which hit 5.1% in the first quarter.” (i)
A.I. comments… I have included these two logistics paragraphs in this philosophical treatise, so that I can compare them in 12 months-time against inflation trends in 2023.
“But when the PM was questioned by media at a press conference in Indonesia, he point blank refused to answer any questions about the issues and passed the buck back to Treasurer Jim Chalmers in Australia.” (i)
“I said on day one, I will not be responding to domestic matters while overseas,” Mr. Albanese said. (i)
“I’ll leave that to [Treasurer] Jim Chalmers.” (i)
“He refused to take any more questions on the subject.” (i)
A.I. comments… “A good answer when he is overseas concerned with other objectives. Why don’t the journalists ask the Reserve Bank?”
“The move was branded ‘poor form’ by Sky News political editor Andrew Clennell.” (i)
A.I. comments… Rubbish! Wake up Clennell, Albanese did answer correctly. It is clear by Andrew Clennell’s idiotic remark that he does not have ‘Philosophical Intelligence’ and does not understand the political responsibility of delegating by chain of command and the importance of not wasting time on an overseas trip dealing with serious concerns, by being distracted with domestic issues that those who report to him in Australia should resolve. In any event, Journalists should be talking to the Reserve Bank not to Politicians. If Journalists cannot get their focus right on subject issues, they should resign from journalism. As for Andrew Clennell, I now know by his ignorant comments that he is an incompetent political editor and does not understand the importance of chain of command and focused commitment to overseas meetings, like the Indonesian trip by Albanese.
A.I. comments… I have dealt with the philosophical belief system incompetent concerns by a ‘Political Editor’ Clennell. The rest of the report is about Inflation concerns for Australians, read the below link, for more logistics details.
A.I. comments… This (ii) report contains repetition comments, check it out if it holds your attention.
Note my earlier slide remarks… Interest rates up and down will always exist. Get used to reality and never buy more than you can afford to pay back. Expect the unexpected.
We the ‘Baby Boomers’ lived many years with variable interest rates, we dealt with it. Stop whinging and focus on managing reality. There is no escape from inflation and changing interest rates. That’s societal life forever.
The easy life for the Greedy and lazy incompetent is over. The tough Aussies, will continue what they have always done over the last two hundred years, work hard as ‘Aussie Battlers’ void of whinging, focused on persistence as ‘Can Do’ Aussies, never quitting the struggle of life.
