There is a lot of inspirational wisdom in the Christian ‘Holy Bible’. But there are also false knowledge statements and dark wrong thinking verses. Some must be called ‘Satanic Verses’ because that is exactly what they are.
I am no longer a ‘Christian’ with good reason. But I still support the good decent thinking of Christianity, despite it’s tragic history of doing the wrong thing to other humans.
We must never throw out the baby with the bathwater. Wrong ideas must be discarded but wisdom must always be preserved.
I do what the early Christians did before the creation of the ‘Roman Christian’ church. They did not have a Bible; it did not exist during the first three hundred years of Christianity. Thus, I follow the ‘Wisdom of Jesus’ not as my saviour, but as my mentor, teacher and ahimsa guide. I think of Jesus the man as being a great ‘Messenger of Time’, equal to the wisdom of Buddha and Moses who delivered the ‘Ten Commandments’ the world’s ‘First Cosmic Laws’.
