Australia: Electric Cars Charging Stupidity
Aka
Aussie Madness… Thank God, all Aussies are not this stupid.
Dangerous Charging Behaviour Threatens the Lives of People and Children.
Manly Images…

Power Cords left lying on road even when car is not parked there.
Dangerous Incident in Manly
Kylie Stevens for Daily Mail Australia tabled disturbing news on Friday 16th September 2022 titled, ‘Electric car parked in Manly, Sydney’s northern beaches raises major dilemma.’
“Astonishing footage has put a spotlight on the potential dangers of electric vehicles amid fears they could become a lawyer’s picnic.” (i)
“An electric car parked on a street in Manly, on Sydney’s northern beaches, was spotted being charged by a lengthy trail of power cord.” (i)
“The cable loops over the front fence, which snakes from the road up a driveway and into a nearby home.” (i)
“The owner even kindly installed a hazard cover over the section of the cord running across the public footpath, so locals don’t trip over the cord while walking past.” (i)
Allan Ivarsson comments… The owner was not doing it to be kind. He used the hazard cover, so no one damaged his cord system to charge his vehicle. He failed to comprehend that he was doing the wrong thing and that his action was irresponsible and inconsiderate of other people, leaving a dangerous electrical system on the path. In rain, the power cord would become even more dangerous. If children passing by grabbed the cable, all hell would break lose as misery hit the pavement.
“A close-up photo shows the car surrounded by electrical cables.” (i)
“Residents sent photos and footage to 2GB breakfast host Ben Fordham, who was left ‘amazed’. (i)
“He fears the issue could soon become a major dilemma for neighbourhoods where electric vehicle owners, who don’t have a garage or driveway, must park on the street.” (i)
“It’s strange, you need to see it to believe it, it’s one of the longest extension cords I’ve ever seen,” Fordham told listeners on Friday. (i)
“The person was lucky enough to find a park outside their home. What if the only parking you can find is on the other side of the street?” (i)
“Do you then run the extension cord across the street with a bit of gaffer tape over the top?” (i)
“What happens when there are 10 electric cars in the street?” (i)
Fordham said, “he was also sent more footage of the lengthy cord trail which remains lying there even when the car isn’t there.” (i)
A.I. comments… Our politicians in Australia are so incompetent, weak in mentality… that when they approved of the sale of ‘Electric Vehicles’ they failed to ban charging cars on the street using power cords coming from nearby, homes and business properties.
“Local resident Mark believes it’s an accident waiting to happen.” (i)
“It’s a trip hazard as well as an electrical hazard to children,” he told the program. (i)
Mark continued his remarks… “If someone trips over, what are they going to do? Are they going to sue the homeowner because their home contents will probably have public liability cover but insurance companies will say “it’s outside your house, we’re not covering.” (i)
“The local council will say it’s not their problem so it’s going to be a lawyer’s picnic.” (i)
“The electrical cables are going to get wet at some stage.” (i)
“I think some council were looking to run the cables down poles but it’s going to be like spaghetti junction. It’s going to look terrible.” (i)
“The Electric Vehicle Council is pushing for every state and territory to mandate targets for the sale of electric cars after the ACT recently became the first Australian jurisdiction to ban new and diesel vehicles from 2035.” (i)
A.I. comments… It is an ‘Act of High Treason’ against all Australians to ban the sale of new petrol and diesel vehicles without Plebiscite majority approval of all Australians.
It is an ‘Act of High Treason’ against all Australians to ban the sale of gas appliances without Plebiscite majority approval of all Australians.
In fact, if the bans are enforced without Plebiscite approval of the people, the Australian people do have the right to launch ‘Civil War Action’ against the Authorities enforcing such bully dictatorship. There is no place for ‘Authoritarianism’ in a ‘Free World’ Society.
“Electric cars take anything from 15 minutes up to 20 hours to charge, depending on the battery.” (i)
A.I. comments… If Electric Cars take more than ten minutes to charge… only idiots would buy an electric car.
“Fordham called on authorities in Australia to work out how electric cars are going to be charged in the future with at least one council on Sydney’s north shore planning to get rid of driveways.” (i)
A.I. comments… Authorities? Which Authorities? Do you mean all of those idiot Politicians in Federal, State and Local Councils that approved the Sale of Electric Vehicles and failed to establish a ‘Charging Power Standard’ for all EV’s?
Australian Politicians find the subject too onerous for them. They are not good ‘Project Managers’ that is why Australia has declined in performance as a society. Our Politicians can’t do the job. They are all ‘Spin’ not skilled.
“I reckon only 30 per cent of people in my street have a garage and a lot of councils are getting rid of driveways,” Fordham said. (i)
“They argue that when you’ve got a driveway, you’re putting schoolkids in danger because you’re reversing out of the driveway when you’ve got kids walking along the footpath.” (i)
A.I. comments… Who owns the house and driveway, is it rent landlords or private owners? Without a driveway the house devalues. A council should be sued big dollars if they ban the use of a driveway.
I grew up in a world of driveways. And we never had accidents with children being hurt. Are the councils suggesting that new younger generation of drivers cannot drive safely? If that is true, the drivers should be banned from driving any vehicle. Where do these fruit loop council members come from? A society living in fear, wrapped up in cotton wool? I detest wimps.
“We’re reducing driveways and garages, so there are going to be fewer points to charge your electric vehicle, which pushes them out onto the street.” (i)
“Then you’ve got to get the power from the house to the car on the street, which involve many, many extension cords.” (i)
A.I. comments… The use of extension power cords to charge a vehicle is an irresponsible method of charging a car. ‘Charging Stations’ are supposed to exist where all vehicles can drive to and be charged using the same logic that ‘Petrol Stations’ filled combustion vehicles with fossil fuel for over a century. i.e., safe points of contact.
Hey Politicians… do any of you have commonsense?

Dangerous Incident in Millers Point
“A listener has sent a photo of an electric car at Millers Point, hooked up to a charging cable that’s wrapped around a tree and leading into the townhouse.” (ii)
“Ben says the photos serve as “reality checks” for those making electric cars the way of the future.” (ii) Refer above Feature Image Photo.
A.I. comments… ‘Decarbonizing Process’ can be achieved with vehicles using ‘CO2 Clean Energy Fuel’. But ‘Green Mentality’ is not smart enough to understand that Technology which now exists. They prefer the more complex, more expensive methods of ‘Electric Vehicle’ charging using volumes of more Batteries than better smarter methods. E Vs still create CO2. Whereas CO2 fuel erases/consumes CO2 gas.

Ps. There are far too many people in life that think they have the right to dictate by force how other peaceful honourable decent people must live. Authoritarianism is not acceptable behaviour. Every person has the right to live free, in speech, choice and equality provided they do not abuse their ‘Freedom Privilege’ by denying others the same right to live free.
There is no place for any form of ‘Totalitarianism’ in a wholesome good decent society.
